Crazy Video Shows ‘Selfie King’ Jumping Off Yosemite’s Half Dome, Pretending to Fall

*Note: Base jumping in Yosemite National Park is illegal. Please do not attempt.

This might be the bravest piece of performance art ever put together.

A video posted to YouTube shows a man, claiming to be the “selfie king,” pretending to fall off Yosemite’s Half Dome. The description of the video on YouTube even further show his commitment to the bit:

This video was found at the bottom of Half Dome by hikers. The last five seconds of the video have been edited out.

Although the video shows the man clearly wearing a parachute on his back, and him reaching for said parachute before the video cuts out, it’s still one heck of a good piece of acting. Committing to a bit, all while base jumping from a massive cliff at Yosemite, has to be commended for the level of performance art it really is.

Look, this video is over a year old, and I may be late to the party here, but that’s one heck of a video.
