Flash Flood Warning Issued for Camp Fire Burn Scar

With the rain continuing to batter Northern California, officials feared the burned area of the Camp Fire in Butte County near Paradise, Magalia, Pulga and Concow could see flooding.

Now, as the storm reaches its final and most intense day, the Flash Flood Warning has been issued in the area by the National Weather Service.

Flooded areas were already seen in the community of Pulga and the Butte County Sheriff issued an evacuation warning for the area:

When an area is burned, the natural flood inhibiters area taken from the area, allowing water to flow freely into the area without soaking into plants and brush.
