Mark Your Calendars: The Date for the Next Legendary Boonville Beer Festival is Set

When Kevin McGee, owner of the Anderson Valley Brewing Co., was on the Talking NorCal podcast in June of 2020, he was optimistic that they would be able to host the Legendary Boonville Beer Festival in 2021. Little Did he know, the Covid pandemic would last much longer than anticipated and they decided to scrap the event for the year. With much of the Covid restrictions being lifted this summer, they have scheduled a date for their next beer festival.

The next Boonville Beer Festival has been scheduled for April 23, 2022.

It’s disappointing news for everyone, as the biggest beer festival in Northern California will have to wait another year to get rolling again. The event is a great spectacle for the small town of Boonville, California (known to have its own language) and a economic driver for businesses and non-profits, raising more than $300,000 for charities in 2017 and 2018 alone.

Although we won’t be able to enjoy the popular beer festival that has been running for over 25 years, Anderson Valley Brewing Co. is still hosting plenty of live events onsite this year, including the launch of their Beer Park coming this summer.
