On Saturday afternoon, Vail Resorts and Alterra Mountain Management both announced their difficult decisions to close operations for all their ski resorts amidst the growing fears of the Coronavirus. Those announcements created a figurative avalanche among NorCal ski resorts, with most resorts deciding to close on Saturday night.

With the growing closure announcements that shocked NorCal residents Saturday night, there are only three ski resorts who have not announced any changes in operations: Mt. Rose, Diamond Peak and Homewood.

Here is a full list of ski resort closures in NorCal:

Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows (closed indefinitely)

Northstar Mountain Resort (closed until March 22)

Heavenly Mountain Resort (closed until March 22)
