The Grand Canyon of NorCal? Drone Footage Shows Lake Oroville Nearly Empty

The drought continues to have an enormous impact on Northern California. One of the more obvious impacts is the states of NorCal waterways, which are showing historically low water levels. Those water levels are quite astounding when you see them with your own eyes.

Bass Union posted a YouTube video showing drone footage over the Nelson Bar area of Lake Oroville and it looks much more like a canyon than a lake. The lake currently sits at 23 percent of its total capacity, which leaves the skinnier coves of the lake either drying up or looking more like rivers.
