This CHUNKY 46-Pound Striper Shows Bass Fishing is Heating Up on the Sacramento River

The bass fishing on the Sacramento River is starting to heat up with multiple guide services reporting big striped bass in the water. One of the best striper guides in the area, Ryan Tripp, recently landed a massive striper that shows the big boys are beginning to bite in Northern California.

Tripp recently took a client named John out for a night fishing expedition when they were able to land this beautiful 46-pound striped bass. By the looks of the photo, John was pretty happy with the score:

Seeing the photos of Tripp’s fishing excursions proves that the bass seem to be getting bigger as the season progresses. Here are a few of his catches in the past month:
