Details Emerge from Jeremy Renner’s Near Deadly Snowplow Accident in Tahoe

Actor Jeremy Renner had a near-fatal snowplow accident in the Tahoe region earlier this week, leaving him in critical condition in a nearby hospital. Now, details have emerged from the accident and how he survived the scary ordeal.

The incident occurred at Renner’s home in the Tahoe-Truckee area, where the actor was helping a car get unstuck after the massive snowstorm. After successfully towing the car, Renner got out of the snowplow and it began to roll. He attempted to get back in the driver’s seat but could not stop it and was eventually “run over.” According to the 911 call log, Renner was “completely crushed” and was in need of immediate medical attention.

“[Renner] is moaning loudly in the background – serious bleeding,” the 911 dispatcher notes in the call log. “[Renner] is bleeding heavily from his head and other [unknown] injuries – [responding person] isn’t sure where all the blood is coming from.”

Renner was quickly transported via helicopter to a nearby hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. After receiving surgery on Monday, Renner posted to Instagram saying “Thank you all for your kind words. I’m too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all.”

Renner is known for playing Hawkeye in Marvel’s Avengers franchise. He has twice been nominated for an Oscar for his roles in “The Hurt Locker” and “The Town.” He currently stars in “Mayor Kingstown” and is scheduled to release his new show “Rennervations” on Disney+ early this year.
