It’s Time to Get Muddy! The Shasta Mud Run is Returning to Northern California
The mud run offers an extra muddy 5K challenge course for all ages and skill levels and a 10K with obstacles for those serious athletes
It’s that time of year again! The time when you get into your best physical shape and head down to the Ross Ranch in Redding to compete in the muddiest event Northern California has to offer.
That’s right, the 6th annual Shasta Mud Run is returning on May 12th for another year of great exercise and a muddy good time!
The mud run offers an extra muddy 5K challenge course for all ages and skill levels and a 10K with obstacles for those serious athletes. Spectators will enjoy local vendors, music, tasty food, and thirst quenching beverages. Children 10 and under will have a blast in the FREE Mini Muddies Mud Pit Play Area.
Following the run, an after party will commence at the finish line with beer being poured from Woody’s Brewing Co. and live music will take place from 11 am to 4 pm.
The Shasta Mud Run is an essential fundraiser for the Youth Violence Prevention Council and its programs. Your participation in 2018 Shasta Mud Run supports the mission to serve youth and families, and to work toward reducing youth violence, increasing leadership skills, and encouraging healthy lifestyles in our community.
