MONSTER King Salmon Caught Along the NorCal Coast
Salmon fishing season has started in Northern California and the first signs are being seen along the coast. One charter company recently helped a client pull out a MONSTER king salmon of the Pacific Ocean, with their estimate of it weighing in at 45 pounds.
Salt Lady Sportfishing out of Sausalito recently took client Kenny Carter from Santa Rosa on a charter for salmon fishing. Kenny was able to pull out this impressive fish and take a photo he’ll surely hang in his house.
“I’ve been doing this for a couple years and I actually HAVE seen ‘em that big, but it’s definitely been awhile,” said Jared Davis from Salt Lady Fishing.
The huge fish was caught while trolling. It’s unclear where the catch was found, but Salt Lady specializes in trips nearby and in the San Francisco Bay. There are certainly some hogs in that water.
