Mt. Shasta Ski Park Hosting a Digital Terrain Park Contest for Prizes

Mt. Shasta Ski Park typically ends its winter season with a freestyle competition on the mountain, but this isn’t a typical year. That’s why they’ve decided to instead host a digital competition where skiers and snowboarders can compete for prizes by creating videos and images in the Revolution terrain park.

Dubbed the No Event-Event, the ski park hopes to engage with its freestyle visitors to see who can bust the best moves in the terrain park. Participants will have until April 10th to post their photos/videos on Instagram, after which the terrain park staff will pick the best entries. The competitors will fall under four categories – Local pro (expert), Weekend Warrior (intermediate), Newbie (beginner) and Grom (10 & under). Each entry will need to tag @mtshastaskipark and @mtshasta_terrainpark while using #noeventevents in the post.

Best top to bottom video

  • This video is judged on a one clip run from top to bottom of Revolution.

Big Air, best trick video

  • This video is judged based on the best single trick on any jump in Revolution.

Best trick on a rail video

  • This video is judged based on the best single trick on a rail in Revolution.

Best photo

  • This photo is judged based on the best single photo on any feature in Revolution.
