The Next Solar Eclipse Will Fly Right Over Northern California. But You’ll Have to Wait a While.

This week’s solar eclipse captured the minds and damaged the eyeballs of many people throughout America. In Northern California, the partial eclipse was fun to watch but lacked the excitement that was experienced from the eclipse path of totality in the middle of the country.

Although we didn’t experience the best part of the eclipse, we have something to look forward to as the next eclipse’s path of totality flies right over NorCal. The only problem is that it’s more than 21 years away.

The next solar eclipse is set to begin its path of totality in the United States in the Humboldt County area before flying over Redding and likely Lake Tahoe. It’s going to be one heck of a show, with hoards of people traveling from all over the country to see it hit the States.

That eclipse is set to happen on August 12th, 2045.

So, if you had a baby today, they would be legally allowed to drink by the time the next eclipse happens. But that’s not going to stop us from getting excited.

Should we start planning the party for 2045?
