UPDATE: Evacuation Warning Lifted in Butte County with Sunrise Fire Reaching 75 Percent Containment
Following a long and strenuous from firefighters in Butte County, the Evacaution Warning has been lifted in the Bangor area and the Sunrise Fire now sits 75 percent containment.

Residents of the rural area southeast of Oroville were worried the fire could get out of control and at times on Monday, structures were in danger in the area. The Evacuation Warning was issued late-Monday morning in an attempt to give time to people with disabilities and large animals to leave the area.

Now, the fire is mostly contained and the residents can sigh a sense of relief.
