Watch: Bear Scampers Along Squaw Valley Run During May Storm
For the past month, bears have been awakening from their winter hibernation to return in droves to the Tahoe area for their usual pestering of locals for their delicious human food.
But following the rare mid-May winter storm that brought over a foot of snow to the Tahoe mountains, bears are scampering to find shelter during an otherwise warm season of the year. That’s why it’s no surprise that a bear was spotted scampering across a Squaw Valley Resort run on Thursday, caught on camera by a person at the ski resort:

The poor bear doesn’t know what to do with itself with the weird cold weather hitting Northern California this week. Personally, I’m feeling the same way.
