WATCH: Skier Launches Over Massive Road Gap on Donner Summit

It’s been one heck of a start to the winter ski season in Tahoe, with record snowfall providing the mountains with a plenty of opportunity for adventure seekers. One of the adventure seekers used the snowpack to perform a death-defying stunt that will have on the edge of your seat when you see it.

Trevor Semmens posted a video to his Instagram page showing him launching a giant flip over a roadway on Donner Summit. The video was viewed nearly 300,000 times. Check it out:

It’s one thing to perform flips and tricks on a giant ski jump, but when you add the danger of a car driving below you, the stakes are that much higher. It also makes for a sweet video to share on social media.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen skiers launch over this road gap in the Sierra. In fact, a group of skiers put on a show at this very spot in 2017, posting their adventure on Nick Coulter’s YouTube page:

A big shout out to the adrenaline junkies who keep us entertained by sharing their stunts on the internet. Keep shredding!

  1. Aw, this was a very nice post. Taking a few minutes and actual effort to produce a superb
article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a whole lot and don’t manage to get nearly anything done.
