Wedding Proposal Caught on Camera on the Summit of Mount Shasta
It’s always fun to see a proposal in one of the iconic outdoor destinations in Northern California. We’ve seen plenty of them at places like Burney Falls, McCloud Falls, the Golden Gate Bridge, Yosemite National Park and Lake Tahoe. One proposal was recently caught on camera, showing a rare and adrenaline-pumping engagement on the summit of Mount Shasta.
The couple of @operation.adventure on Instagram recently posted about their engagement on the top of Shasta, and they have the stunning photos to prove it:
“Right after our summit, Sentry pulled the biggest and best surprise! Maybe it was the altitude speaking but I think I said yes,” read the post. In the photos, the girl can be seen falling to the ground in shock of the the proposal. But in the end, they were one happy couple descending down the mountain.

Climbing Mount Shasta is no easy task, especially with the thought of a wedding ring sitting in your pocket on the way up. Not only did they leave with an engagement, the couple also got a pretty epic shot on the very top of the 14,180-foot mountain:
Congrats to the happy couple!
