Adventure Van Expo Returns to Palisades Tahoe September 20–21

Van life is rolling back into Tahoe. The Adventure Van Expo returns to Palisades Tahoe September 20–21, bringing a weekend celebration of outdoor adventure vehicles, custom builds, and off-grid living.

Presented by Mercedes-Benz of Reno and the North Tahoe Community Alliance, the expo runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. It’s a chance for outdoor enthusiasts, travelers, and curious first-timers to dive into the booming van life culture.

Expect to see everything from luxury camper vans to rugged overland rigs, plus the latest gear for life on the road. Industry pros will be on hand to answer questions, and the weekend also features live music, local food, and craft brews.

A highlight of the event is the DIY Contest, where custom builders can showcase their rigs to crowds and get feedback from van experts.
