Brand-New Glamping Experience Coming to Yosemite

Under Canvas, known for its luxurious safari-style tented camps near national parks, is set to debut its first-ever California camp just outside Yosemite National Park on May 22, 2025.

Nestled on 80 acres of pine-dappled forest just 10 minutes from Yosemite’s west entrance, this new glamping outpost promises an unparalleled experience. Each tent will boast king-sized beds with heated mattress pads, en suite bathrooms, private decks, and even stargazing windows.

The camp’s communal areas will feature cozy lounge spaces furnished by West Elm, a game area, and an indoor-outdoor café serving up seasonal dishes and California wines. To enhance guests’ park experience, an Adventure Concierge will assist with booking activities like rafting and guided hiking trips.

True to Under Canvas’s ethos of minimal disturbance and maximum immersion, the camp will not offer Wi-Fi and will prioritize water conservation. Plus, with the Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System bus stop conveniently located across from the property, guests can easily explore the park without their own vehicle.

Reservations for Under Canvas Yosemite’s inaugural season, running from May 22 to October 27, 2025, are already open with rates starting at $319 per night. So, if you’re dreaming of a luxurious retreat amidst the beauty of Yosemite, now’s the time to book your stay!
