Celebrate National Public Lands Day with Free Entrance to National Parks this Weekend

Prepare your backpacks and hiking boots because it’s time to celebrate National Public Lands Day with a fantastic opportunity to explore some of Northern California’s most treasured national parks. The National Park Service is granting free entrance into all National Parks this Saturday, September 23, to commemorate this special day.

This fee-free day is your chance to embark on an adventure to a new destination or revisit an old favorite, all without the burden of an entrance fee. Keep in mind that while the entrance fee is waived, it doesn’t cover additional amenities or user fees.

After this Saturday, there’s only one more chance this year to enjoy free entry to our nation’s beautiful parks, and that falls on Veteran’s Day, November 11.
