Flash Flooding Reported in Shasta County
In the last week of March, a winter storm has descended upon Northern California, creating flash floods in eastern Shasta County.
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flooding warning for parts of Shasta County, with running water hitting parts of Bella Vista just east of Redding. While the warning was initially issued for just Wednesday night, officials extended it to last until Thursday morning.
On top of a hailstorm, running water was seen flowing down busy roads in Bella Vista:
The area near Highway 299 just east of Redding had already seen a significant storm of accumulating hail:
