Folsom Lake Jet Skier Still Missing in “Possible Drowning”

Around 6:30 pm on Sunday, a 29-year-old jet skier potentially fell off his jet ski into Folsom Lake and remains missing following an extensive search by law enforcement officials. He was not wearing a life jacket.

The victim was riding jet skis with his friend when the two briefly became separated. His friend found the other jet ski but the missing Vineyard resident was nowhere to be found. The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office called it a “possible drowning” in a press release.

Officials continued their search for the young man on Monday with no results. The identity of the the victim has not yet been released.
