Free Beach Concerts Rock Lake Tahoe Every Friday This Summer

There’s no better way to spend a summer evening on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe than with your toes in the sand, a drink in hand, and live music filling the mountain air. The popular Music on the Beach concert series has returned to Kings Beach for the 2025 summer season, bringing free Friday night performances to one of Tahoe’s most scenic waterfronts.
Hosted at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area, the concerts run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. every Friday through August 30. It’s a family-friendly vibe with dancing on the sand, food vendors, local beer from Alibi Ale Works, wine, and even paddleboard rentals if you feel like grooving on the water.
Here’s the remaining 2025 Music on the Beach lineup:
- July 19 – Diggin Dirt (Funk/Soul)
- July 26 – Coburn Station (Mountain Rock)
- August 2 – Broken Compass Bluegrass (Bluegrass)
- August 9 – The Sextones (Soul/Funk)
- August 16 – Boot Juice (Roots/Rock)
- August 23 – The Nomads (Funk/Rock)
- August 30 – Jelly Bread (Funk/Rock/Roots)
The event is BYO-blanket or low-back chair, but no outside alcohol is allowed (support the local beer and wine vendors!). The beach fills up fast, so arrive early to claim your spot and soak in the sunset.
Whether you’re a Tahoe local or just visiting for the weekend, Music on the Beach is a perfect way to enjoy the summer in true NorCal style.
