Iconic Tahoe Town Ranked Third-Snowiest Place in the United States

Truckee, California, the iconic ski town on the north side of Lake Tahoe, has been named the third-snowiest place in the United States by The Weather Channel.

The Weather Channel’s ranking focused on towns and cities with populations exceeding 1,000, excluding unincorporated areas, ski resorts, and mountain ranger stations. Only one city from each state was included in the list.
