Mammoth Mountain’s Final Weekend of the 2024-25 Ski Season Is Here

The 2024-25 ski season is coming to a close, and Mammoth Mountain is giving snow lovers one last chance to make some turns. The resort has announced that this Sunday, June 15, will be its final day of operations for the season.

That makes Mammoth the last ski resort open in California—and your final shot at carving down the slopes before summer fully takes over.

Thanks to a strong snowpack and cooler spring temps, Mammoth has kept lifts spinning well into June. But all good things must end, and the resort is set to shut down after the weekend. This marks the end of an extended season that began back in November and gave skiers and snowboarders more than seven months of powder days, bluebird mornings, and spring slush laps.

If you’re itching for one last ride, grab your gear and head south this weekend. Expect sunny skies, festive vibes, and plenty of skiers in costumes—Mammoth’s late-season energy is always something to experience.

Don’t forget: after this weekend, it’s officially hiking, biking, and beer garden season in the Sierra. But for now, there’s still a little snow left to enjoy.
