NorCal Distillery Making Hand Sanitizer and Giving it Out For Free
As every restaurant, bar, craft brewery and distillery deals with the impact of California’s “shelter-in-place” mandate, one distillery is using its capabilities to create hand sanitizer for its customers.
Etna, California’s Denny Bar Company is well-known for making delicious craft spirits for the community. As the Coronavirus outbreak has limited the business to curbside food and drink pickup orders (yes, they are still taking orders), the distillery has also created and bottled 400 ethanol-based hand sanitizers and giving the free 2-ounce bottle to each customer.
The trend of distilleries creating their own hand sanitizer is growing in the United States as different communities battle the ongoing spread of the Coronvirus. While nothing beats good ole fashioned soap and water, the hand sanitizer is a helpful tool to stay clean while on the go.
