Palisades Tahoe Brings Back Town Race League Series for 75th Anniversary

Palisades Tahoe is reviving its iconic Town Race League Series this spring, bringing back a beloved community tradition that has been on hiatus for years. In celebration of the resort’s 75th anniversary, the series will offer skiers and snowboarders of all abilities a fun and competitive way to spend their winter evenings.

The Town Race League Series kicks off on March 5, 2025, and will run every Wednesday night through April 9. Racers will get two runs per event, with a new theme each week and prizes awarded for the best-dressed competitor.

“We know that spring evenings in the Sierra are magical,” said Amy Ohran, Chief Operating Officer at Palisades Tahoe. “Bringing back this event allows our community to celebrate the resort’s history and come together for some friendly competition.”

Event Details:

  • Check-In: Base of the Exhibition Lift (1:00 PM – 3:30 PM)
  • Race Start: 3:00 PM
  • Eligibility: 18+ years old
  • Lift Access: Requires an Ikon Pass or discounted lift ticket
  • Race Fee: $25.00
  • Registration Deadline: March 11 at 11:59 PM EST

  • March 19 – Palisades Pros
  • March 26 – Tight & Bright
  • April 2 – Tiki
  • April 9 – Denim on Denim
