California State Parks announced that visitors planning to explore Fern Canyon or Gold Bluffs Beach must secure a reservation before their visit.
Reservations are mandatory for driving to the Fern Canyon Trailhead and Gold Bluffs Beach Day Use areas from May 15th through September 15th. However, visitors who plan to hike into Fern Canyon or those already camping within the park do not need a reservation.
