See Some Tahoe Views in the Brand-New Top Gun Trailer

Back in December of 2018, Tom Cruise was spotted in South Lake Tahoe participating intense filming for the sequel to his hit movie Top Gun. Photos were taken of cruise at the airport on a motorcycle and reports showed that roads were closed in the Tahoe mountains to complete scenes of the movie.

Now, the official trailer has dropped for Top Gun: Maverick and you can see the motorcycle scene for yourself.

In the trailer, Cruise is seen speeding down the airport runway on his motorcycle without a helmet. Although it isn’t the major Lake Tahoe scene we were hoping for, it shows that they will be using some of the footage they shot during his two-week stay in Northern California.

The trailer also revealed some of the plot of the much anticipated sequel, where Cruise hasn’t progressed much in his career and he’s still flying hard in those Navy aircraft. The film is bound to be full of action, much like the original.

The film is set to release on June 26, 2020.
