It was a night for the ages in Northern California (and, quite frankly, the entire Northern Hemisphere) after a strong geomagnetic storm emerged from the sun. It was the strongest solar storm we’ve seen in decades, and it created once-in-a lifetime views of the Northern Lights over Northern California.
