Video Shows Car Flying 50 Feet Into the Air on Highway 99 Near Yuba City

An insane car crash was recently caught on camera on Highway 99 near Yuba City showing a car flying 50 feet into the air and landing directly on its roof.

Brian Conejo was driving down the road with his car surveillance video on when all of a sudden a car flies off the nearby hill and lands right in front of his car. Shockingly, the woman driving the car was uninjured in the crash.

According to California Highway Patrol, the car had just been involved in a hit-and-run and was fleeing the scene at speeds of 80-100 mph in a 25 mph zone. When approaching a sharp turn, the car just flew off the roadway, creating a car jump like something you’d see in Dukes of Hazzard.

The woman was taken to a local hospital where she walked out uninjured, but it could have been much worse. In the video, you can see the car threading the needle midair between the power lines. If those lines were hit, it could have been much worse.
