Watch Huell Howser Take on Northern California Waterfalls

Huell Howser is a California legend. His adventures in the state showed a whole generation all the beautiful and historical destinations. Through his show California’s Gold, he inspired countless people to explore the great destinations of the state, always with a intense curiosity, smile on his face and a Tennessee twang in his voice rarely seen on the West Coast.

Following his death in 2013, we were left remembering him with his robust library of work through California’s Gold, much of which is still available for free online today. While going back through his work, I was most interested in seeing his adventures in Northern California, especially the above episode where he took on some of our favorite outdoor destinations, including McCloud and Burney Falls.
