Whiskeytown Lake is Currently Getting Blasted by Snowfall

As the atmospheric river arrived in Northern California on Thursday afternoon, low temperatures have brought the snowfall to low elevations throughout the region. With Redding currently getting some snowfall, nearby Whiskeytown Lake is already buried.

Whiskeytown National Recreation officials released photos of the region and the lake is in rare winter form:

Anyone traveling in the area is being asked to use extreme caution. Be safe out there.
