Bass Lake Claimed a Truck This Weekend and the Photos Say It All

A truck ended up at the bottom of Bass Lake last week after a boat ramp mishap that probably made for a rough afternoon in Madera County.

According to Bass Lake Water Sports, a man from Chowchilla had arrived at the launch ramp to put two jet skis in the water. When he stepped out of the truck to help guide the watercraft, the vehicle rolled into the lake. It had been left in neutral.

Photos of the submerged truck were shared by Bass Lake Water Sports and made the rounds quickly, as these things tend to do. Nobody was hurt in the incident, and the truck was eventually towed out of the water.

No word on the condition of the vehicle after its unexpected swim.
