See a Fall-Color Explosion in Chico, California

Chico, California is known to many as “The City of Trees.” As the legend goes, John Bidwell used to walk the streets of Chico in the 1800’s planting seeds one-by-one. Today, the fruits of his labor have been realized to residents and visitors, and there’s no better time to see Chico than in the fall.

With a dry year, 2021 is proving to show is fall colors early this year. The downtown trees are transforming into red, yellow and orange blooms right now, giving a rare sense of beauty and relaxation in an otherwise tenuous year.
