Fallen Redwood Tree Closes Road in Redwood National Park

The tress of the Redwood National Park are the biggest on the planet. Their sheer size bring visitors unmatched beauty and perspective on the wonders of the planet.
The problem? When the massive trees fall, they are really hard to deal with.
A large redwood recently fell across Howland Hill Road in Redwood NPS, closing the road until workers can clean up the large amount of wood.
Due to the tree on the road, the western access to Stout Grove is currently closed, although the eastern entrance remains open. NPS officials believe the tree should be cleaned up by Monday of next week.
