New Horror Flick Set on a Weed Farm in Northern California

Paper Street Pics has unveiled the trailer for “Trim Season,” a horror thriller film set on a marijuana farm in Northern California. Timed perfectly for the 4/20 weekend, the trailer offers a glimpse into the chilling narrative, although the full film won’t hit screens until June.

Directed by Ariel Vida, known for the acclaimed “Vide Noir,” “Trim Season” promises an “ultimate nightmare blunt rotation.” The story follows Emma, portrayed by Bethlehem Million, and her friends who venture to a remote marijuana farm for quick cash during “trim season.” However, their quest takes a terrifying turn as they uncover the farm’s sinister secrets, leaving them trapped on the mountain.

Featuring a stellar cast including Jane Badler, Bex Taylor-Klaus, and Alex Essoe, the film teases a spine-chilling blend of horror and eco-thrills. The trailer, accompanied by eerie poster artwork, sets the tone for a gripping cinematic experience.

“Trim Season” is the second feature film from Ariel Vida, co-written by David Blair. Produced by Aaron B. Koontz and Sean E. DeMott, the film debuted at the 2023 Overlook Film Festival and is set to hit select US theaters and VOD platforms on June 7th, 2024.
