Father-Son Duo Land Two 30-Striped Pound Bass in a Day on the Sacramento River

The bass fishing on the Sacramento River is on a roll right now with multiple fishing guides helping their clients land BIG fish.

Fishing guide Robert Petty was with clients Roque Sablan and son Jaden Sablan recently when the hooked two different catches of a lifetime. After a fight, Roque landed a 36-pound bass (pictured above) into the boat. The fish was caught near Scotty’s in Chico. What a lunker!

As they say, like father like son. Jaden was also able to land a beast of his own with this 30-pounder:

“This father and son team got what they were looking for today!” wrote Petty on Instagram. “Both getting their personal best striper. Excellent fishermen and awesome people…”

Petty has been helping his clients reel in some HOGS lately. He even scored this 45-pounder on the Sac last week:
