GIANT 40-Pound Chinook Salmon Caught on the Sacramento River

Ryan Tripp is at it again! Some local guides have referred to him as the “Michael Jordan of Fishing” in Northern California and the young guide is showing the world why. Showing off his prowess to find king salmon in the Sac, Tripp recently posted a photo of a 40-pound fish he helped his client bring to the boat:

What a beast! For anyone that doesn’t know Tripp, he fishes for nearly every type of fish throughout NorCal. From salmon and bass on the Sac, to steelhead on the North Coast, he is quickly becoming one of the most impressive fishermen in the region.
