Mammoth Mountain Announces Closing Date for the 2024-25 Ski Season

Mammoth Mountain has announced it will officially wrap up its 2024-25 ski season on June 15. Until then, the resort will remain open daily with lift operations running from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Skiers and snowboarders can still access terrain via Broadway Express (1), Stump Alley Express (2), Face Lift Express (3), and Chair 23. However, the Panorama Gondola is likely done for the season due to scheduled maintenance and is not expected to reopen until mid-June. Discovery Express (11) is also closed, meaning no beginner terrain is currently available.
Despite receiving a modest 286 inches of snowfall at the Main Lodge this season, Mammoth has held onto its snowpack well. As of May 29, 48 trails remain open, with 21 trails groomed and a summit snow depth of 98 inches.
This season also saw the debut of Broadway Express (1), Mammoth’s second new chairlift in two years.
With bluebird spring skiing and limited days left, now’s the time to get in those final laps before Mammoth closes out another iconic season.
