Mammoth Mountain Finally Ends its Epic Winter of 2019

Mammoth Mountain had one heck of a winter. Back in February, it broke a 30-year-old snowfall record and had the most snow of any ski resort in North America. Then, three months later, the resort recorded its snowiest May ever.

Now, in the waning days of July, the mountain has finally ended its 8-month ski season. The final days included lots of farmer’s tans, dirty snow and sunshine.

“Well that was a fun one! “Winter” 18/19 ran from Nov 10, 2018 to July 28, 2019,” the resort wrote on Instagram. “Thanks to ALL of our Mammoth family for an incredible season. Just over 100 days until we get to do it all over again.”

That being said, adventure is year-round at Mammoth. The resort will now focus entirely on their summer operations, which includes an awesome mountain biking park and golf course.

Thanks to Mammoth for another epic winter and a BIG shoutout to Mother Nature for giving us the gift of snow this winter. While we love summer in NorCal, we can’t wait for another winter on the slopes. Until next year!
