Man Captures Dangerous Rockslide on Humboldt’s Centerville Beach

The views captured by Mike Jensen show a continuously troubling situation as the cliffs on the somewhat remote beach crumbled all month, leaving officials worried that it may eventually reach the Centerville Road above.

Although the cliff is still 40 feet away from the debilitating cliff, officials are already looking at plans to move the road.

The incident is a lesson for any beachgoers to be aware of their surroundings and stay alert of any rock and dirt movement on the cliffs above.
