Mt. Shasta Ski Park Looking for Workers to Help Build its Brand-New Lift
The Mt. Shasta Ski Park is currently undergoing an expansion that is decades in the making, and you could be a part of building it.
The brand-new Gray Butte fixed quad lift on Mount Shasta will open 88 acres of skiable terrain, add five new runs, increase the resort’s elevation to 7,500 feet and create a 3-mile long run from top to bottom. In other words, this new lift will be a game-changer.
The resort hopes to have the news expansion finished by opening day 2022, and it’s currently looking for laborers to help build the lift.
“Want to be a part of Mt. Shasta Ski Park History? Doppelmayr, Gray Butte’s lift manufacturer and installer is looking for laborers,” Mt. Shasta Ski Park management wrote on social media June 17. “If interested, shoot over a resume to HR@Skipark.com. Construction is expected to start early next week, make sure you get your info over to us as quickly as possible.”
After initially announcing the plan to build a lift on Gray Butte in April, the ski resort is already receiving the materials needed to build the project. They’ve also started clearing the runs on the previously undeveloped area of the mountain.
This new lift is going to completely transform the mountain. Who’s ready to ride at Mt. Shasta Ski Park next winter?
