Palisades Tahoe Closed for the Day Due to Winds, Avalanche Danger

The major winter storm currently nuking the Sierra is making it difficult for ski resorts to open their lifts to the public. While many major resorts have started the day on wind holds, Palisades Tahoe decided to close all operations for the day due to heavy wind and avalanche danger.

After working hard on operations all morning, Palisades mountain operations announced the full closure:
