Photographers Capture Spectacular ‘Snowliage’ in California’s Eastern Sierra
The seasons are changing in Northern California, with autumn colors seeing snowfall in the most beautiful way imaginable. The best place to see this changing from fall to winter might be the Eastern Sierra, which experienced a rare October 1 snowstorm during the changing of the colors.
As the snowfall hit the bright-colored leaves, the unique “snowliage” was hard to ignore. It looked much more like an autumn in Vermont than the mountains of California. Locals and visitors alike snapped some great views of this stunning phenomenon.
