Highway 70 in Butte County remains closed between Jarbo Gap and Greenville Wye as CalTrans attempts to clean up the massive landslide that fell across the highway on Sunday. Now, drone video shows just how massive the slide is.
Brandon Clement filmed the above drone footage that shows the landslide laying across the highway, including large rocks, trees and mud. It’s a rare glimpse into the natural disaster being caused by the large storm in Northern California.
Residents should expected a prolonged delay as workers attempt to clean up the landslide during stormy conditions. Here are some more photos of the landslide:
