Interstate 80 Reopens Near Tahoe with Chain Controls
Following a more than 3-hour closure on the popular stretch of Interstate 80 near Tahoe, the road has reopened to thru traffic with chain controls. Although the road is currently open, the all-night storm could bring more closures throughout the night.

W/B Is Reopened To Westbound Traffic At Truckee At 1710 Hrs On 11/26/19
The closure came in the early afternoon on Tuesday following 11 concurrent spinouts and collisions between Alta and Truckee. After a massive cleanup was performed by CHP and CalTrans, the road reopened.
