Mount Shasta is Looking Mighty Fine with a Fresh Coat of Snow

As the storm rolled into Northern California Wednesday night, the first mountain to see snowfall was Mount Shasta. After a stormy night, the clouds parted on Thursday morning to give a stunning glimpse of the mountain covered in snow.

Now before we get to the beauty of today, the pre-storm sunset proved to be one for the ages:

The snow fell pretty heavy on Wednesday night, so it was a shock for many people to wake up on the base of Mount Shasta to see that the clouds had moved away pretty quickly. The result is a bluebird day for the ages.
