Sierra Nevada Releases RESIST Anti-Imperial Ale to Support Humanitarian Efforts in Ukraine

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. has a history of raising money for relief efforts through their beer. Following the Camp Fire, their Resilience IPA raised more than $8 million for those impacted by the devastating flames. Now, they are setting their sights on the people of Ukraine with a brand-new fundraising beer.

The brewery announced the upcoming release of RESIST Anti-Imperial Ale, with 100 percent of the profits from the beer going to the International Committee of the Red Cross humanitarian relief effort for Ukraine. The West Coast Style IPA sits at 7% ABV and 45 IBU. The beer is currently available on draft in the brewery’s Taproom located in Chico and in the Torpedo Room in Berkeley.

You can also preorder an 8 pack of the beer on their website.

“We’re proud to join the global craft beer community to become Drinkers for Ukraine,” wrote the brewery on their website. “Brewers far and wide are making an “Anti-Imperial” beer called RESIST and donating to the International Committee of the Red Cross’s humanitarian relief effort. We’ve committed to donating all the profits from this beer to support the cause.”

On top of the beer, a Ukrainian-inspired menu item called Hutsul Banosh will be available in the brewery’s taproom in Chico coinciding with the release of the beer in each location. Just like the beer, all Banosh profits go toward Drinkers for Ukraine.

Big props to Sierra Nevada for using beer for good in this world!
