Watch the “Unflippable Raft” Plunge over a Gushing McCloud Falls

As with any revolutionary machine, it must be tested. And what better place to test anti-flipping mechanisms on a boat than the 50-foot Middle McCloud Falls?

The Creature Craft was created by Darren Vanci, who was determined to create an “unflippable raft.” The structural integrity of the raft does not crush or wrap and the patented thigh-strap system also greatly reduces the risk of a flip.

As with any revolutionary machine, it must be tested. And what better place to test anti-flipping mechanisms on a boat than the 50-foot Middle McCloud Falls?

When the water is flowing heavily on the waterfall, it’s possible for kayaks, or in this case rafts, to plunge over the falls. Of course, only professionals should attempt anything like this. Check out the video:

Of course, this video was taken years ago when McCloud Falls was gushing with water. We haven’t seen the waterfall with that much water since 2017.The video is reminiscent of the time kayakers flew off the falls, although this raft seemed to have a much smoother impact on the bottom.
