Woody’s Brewing Co. to Release New Craft Beer with Proceeds Going to Whiskeytown Trail Restoration

It’s our favorite thing in the world – craft beer and fundraising! Woody’s Brewing Co. is releasing a brand-new craft beer to the public with the proceeds going to benefit trail restoration in the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area.

When the Carr Fire hit Whiskeytown NRA in 2018, it badly damaged many of the trails in the area, some of which are still closed to the public today. To help restore these hiking trails, Woody’s is releasing the Brandy Creek Blonde Ale, with benefits going to the Friends of Whiskeytown and their efforts to restore the trail to Brandy Creek Falls.

The beer is a collaboration of Woody’s Brewing Company’s brewing expertise and the home brew recipe of Park Superintendent Josh Hoines. It will be released at a street party in front of Woody’s on October 2 with just a limited amount brewed for the public. Here is the flyer for the event:

Don’t miss this great opportunity to have fun and fundraise to restore the great trails of Whiskeytown.
